Frequently asked questions
I often call myself a “Jill of all trades” and proudly so. My career has given me the opportunity to develop a versatile skill set that spans social media marketing, public relations, internal communications, crisis response, event planning, and change management.
Whether I’m producing a viral campaign, building a student program, writing an executive message, or coordinating a community-wide event, I approach every project with strategy, empathy, and a deep understanding of how people connect.
What ties it all together? I’m passionate about telling meaningful stories, building trust through transparency, and creating experiences online or in-person that make people feel seen, heard, and informed.
Yes. I’m open to freelance projects with restaurants, small businesses, nonprofits, and campus teams. I help with social media strategy, content planning, digital storytelling, graphic design, email copy, and event promotion.
If you need help making your message clearer, your visuals stronger, or your content more consistent, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to talk through what you need and see if it’s a good fit.
I see social media as more than just a platform it’s a space for connection, transparency, and culture-building. With a strong foundation in marketing, PR, and community engagement, I approach social strategy with equal parts intention and intuition.
I’ve led digital campaigns that have generated over 30 million engagements, produced two viral reels with 25M+ views, and organically grew a university dining account by 2,000+ followers in just six months but more importantly, I’ve used those platforms to build trust by sharing stories that matter.
Whether it’s designing a content calendar, launching a student-led initiative, or responding in real-time during a crisis, I believe great social media is rooted in clarity, care, and creativity.
At Rice, I created and lead the Food Ambassador Program: a student-led initiative that connects campus dining services with real-time student feedback. With 25+ student leaders, the program has become a trusted bridge between operations and student life, helping shape messaging, gather insights, and build trust through peer-to-peer communication. Absolutely. Event strategy has been central to my work across all roles from hosting community dialogues and heritage month celebrations to running campus-wide initiatives and student activations.
